FAQs

2. On the voter information line you have our lots listed as 1. We own 1 lot and 1 slip. please correct your listing.

For CCPOA matters requiring votes, owners can cast one vote per lot owned.  If a lot owner also owns a slip, they are not allowed to also cast a vote based on slip ownership as to CCPOA matters.  Therefore as shown in our records, the correct number of lots listed for you is 1.

In the 2020 amended CCPOA Protective Covenants, Section 29, Paragraph B, it states: “…lot owners can record affirmative or a negative vote(s) based on the number of lots owned…”

In the 2020 amended CCPOA By-Laws, Section 4.4.2, it states: “That each Member shall only be able to cast the number of votes that correspond to the number of lots owned by that Member…”

The 2023 amendment to the Protective Covenants makes it clear that "lots" is defined to be those as originally platted by the Developer( see the list attached to this amendment), and that if an owner has merged 2 or more lots into one parcel, the owner still can vote one time for each original lot owned.
